We aim to build a unique risk placement platform

Our ambition is to build a unique trading platform for specialty insurance risks that is user-friendly and cost efficient, linking Continental European brokers and their clients to a panel of A-rated insurance risk carriers that have no direct access to European retail business.

The platform will support brokers in their risk placement needs and help them to centre their business activities around client advisory and risk management services. Over time this unique specialty risk trading platform will include various complementary insurance services.

To deliver on our promise of high-quality services, Alta Signa has established a growing network of regional service hubs across Continental Europe, with each acting as a centre of expertise for Financial Lines, Cyber and Marine business.

Alta Signa is headquartered in Brussels as a Belgian BV/SA. Its regional service hubs are present in France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands and Spain.

Technology as a backbone

We are adopting new web-based technologies to enhance our service levels, both at the underwriting and processing end of our business. Our brokers, clients, underwriters and risk carriers are supported by a fully-fledged “data-first” policy administration system with high levels of digitalisation and risk-centric data capture embedded into the business.

Our ambition is to continuously improve and we are exploring the introduction of algorithms or Artificial Intelligence to further enhance underwriting, claims, data capture and portfolio and exposure management.
