Brussels, 22 September, 2025 - European boutique Managing General Agent (MGA) Alta Signa B.V. (“Alta Signa”) has appointed Cédric Denysiak as Country Manager, France, effective 1 October 2025. The move underscores Alta Signa’s ambitions to continue to grow sustainably across specialty lines in one of Europe’s most dynamic markets.

Cédric brings more than two decades of experience in financial lines and specialty insurance, coupled with a strong track record in relationship management with global brokers and large clients. He joins from WTW, Paris, where he was Client Executive for Large Accounts. Before that, he was Global Brokers Relationship Manager at AIG.

Gerard van Loon, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alta Signa, said: “France is one of the most significant specialty markets in Europe, particularly across financial lines, cyber and marine. What sets Alta Signa apart is its reputation for responsiveness in respect of providing insurance solutions and claims handling, specialty product expertise and local market knowledge. These are exactly the qualities brokers and clients are looking for in today’s market. Cédric’s appointment is a major step in strengthening our local French presence. His ability to build trusted relationships with the local brokers and clients, combined with his technical expertise in specialty lines, makes him ideally placed to drive our growth in France.”

Cédric Denysiak, Country Manager for France, said: “The specialty insurance sector in France is evolving fast, with MGAs increasingly recognised as agile, efficient and knowledgeable partners for both risk carriers and brokers. Having spent more than 20 years working across financial lines and specialty risks, from underwriting and product development to managing broker relationships; I have seen first-hand how quickly the insurance needs of clients are increasing. The regulatory landscape for financial lines is becoming more complex, with heightened scrutiny on directors’ and officers’ liability, cyber and other specialist risks. This creates real demand for locally available expertise, swift decision-making and bespoke solutions – qualities that Alta Signa has built its reputation on. I’m looking forward to keeping the momentum going.”
